David M. Knight, Psy.D.

Background and Experience: Dr. Knight is the Clinical Director of the St. Louis Day Program. He serves as a supervisor for Masters level therapists and as an Adjunct Professor at Covenant Seminary.
Special Interests and Services: Dr. Knight currently facilitates an Interpersonal Growth Group, a Men's Sexuality Group, and a Spiritual Growth Group.

Sandra Smith, M.A., L.P.C.

Education and Training: Bachelors of Science Degree from University of Missouri-Columbia, 1980. Masters Degree in Counseling from San Diego State University, 1982. Training and Certifications in EMDR, 2007. One year post-graduate education at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO. Licensed as an L.P.C. in Missouri since 2006.
Background and Experience: Sandra has worked as a Christian counselor since 2003. Before that, she worked in various educational and therapeutic settings such as crisis hotlines, drug and alcohol treatment centers, and teaching.
Special Interests and Services: Sandra works with children as young as five, adolescents, and adults for a wide range of issues. Sandra describes her therapy style as insight-oriented, utilizing cognitive-behavioral and interactive techniques. She is also trained in EMDR which addresses trauma or abuse, panic, and anxiety.
Additional Information: Sandra is involved in her church as well as providing seminars to other area churches on subjects such as parenting, marital challenges, and providing mental health resources. She is currently a member of AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors) and CHADD (Children and Adults with AD and ADHD).

Background and Experience: Dorothy is a seasoned (inpatient) Registered Nurse (RN) as well as a Certified Mental Health RN. She has worked with a wide range of clinical problems and with people of diverse socioeconomic status.
Special Interests and Services: Dorothy leads Devotional and Spiritual Journeys groups. She also leads groups in Education, Process, and Medication.
